She is often called “the mama of design”. She brings designers, artists, editors, creative directors, entrepreneurs, and everybody in between to have a conversation about empathy design.

Lady Mariéme got to know Joanna a few years ago and sits on her foundation’s board. Joanna discovered her purpose after conversing with her grandmother, who said to her that her skin colour was a privilege and would benefit her greatly one day.
