Its goal is to mobilize these groups to invest in future technologies that can drive sustainable development for women and girls in marginalized communities. We aim to enable 1 million young women and girls’ coders by 2030

The Role

As iamtheCODE's Social Media Manager, you will be the voice and face of our global movement online. This role demands creativity and strategic thinking to effectively manage our social media platforms, driving engagement and web traffic. It's an opportunity to shape our digital narrative and support our mission to empower 1 million women and girls in coding by 2030. You will be part of the iamtheCODE narrative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and manage high-quality, original content across various social media platforms.
  • Grow and maintain a strong social media presence.
  • Design and implement effective social media strategies and advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency and engaging storytelling.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in social media marketing and content creation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for engaging storytelling.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in social media marketing and content writing,
  • Proficiency in developing effective social media strategies.
  • Competence in creating and executing marketing plans.
  • Proven ability to grow and manage social media communities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Meticulous and creative writing skills
  • Experience collaborating with design and creative teams.
  • Capability to measure the success of campaigns effectively.
  • Understanding the use of social media channels.

Social Media Timeline

Social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat & Instagram – 8-10 posts per week on all platforms.
