Can you play an instrument? Are you in a band? Maybe you can’t play an instrument in real life but maybe you can program one! Your challenge, can you program a song in Scratch? To complete this challenge, you will need to take everything you have learned about algorithms and loops to create a programmed song. Remember, you can use different sprites and sounds to make a pattern and create some beautiful music!
Try it out: Open Scratch and navigate to a new project. If you want some help to create your instruments look under “Ideas” and follow the tutorial on “Make Music.” There will be some guidance on how to make music, but you will need to try it on your own. If you find it hard to make a band, program a song with one instrument.
